Keshav got a bug and is throwing up

We took Keshav to the Spring Hill Mall play area on Saturday. Although he played quite well there, he was mouthing and licking playground equipment in the mall play area. He must have gotten some kind of bug there. On Sunday after lunch he threw up his entire lunch. He was gagging in the car because he was not able to get the stuff out of his mouth.
Today Monday 12/20/2010 he threw up all his breakfast. He is feeling weak and he went to sleep for a nap in the afternoon. Also woke up after half an hour and threw up his milk. Poor Keshav. We cant seem to get to do anything right for him. I feel bad for him and for us.

The cough is gone.

November was tough for us. Keshav had antibiotic for his cough. The doctor prescribed Amoxycillin with Pottasium Clavulanate to Keshav for his cough. Keshav was able to take the antibiotic for three days, after which he started doing projectile vomitting. A few minutes after eating anything he would just hurl and throw up everything he ate.We then called the doctor and the doctor told us to contunue with the antibiotic. We however stopped the antibiotic after giving it to Keshav for 3 days. On the fifth day after the first dose of the antibiotic Keshav got rashes all over his body including his face. This was something called as an amoxylin rash. Keshav was allergic to Amoxycillin/Penicillin.
It was really hard on Keshav as he was itchy all over and wasnt able to sleep for 3-4 days. Eventually after a week the rashes subsided. We did give him some benadryl.

The good thing about the entire ordeal was that the Strong Antibiotic did take care of Keshav's cough. Keshav has no cough as of now and is able to sleep without any spells of cough in the middle of the night.

The cough still doesnt go away

I find myself helpless to help Keshav. The cough is persistant and still hasnt gone away. Every night its the same story of coughing and throwing up. Yesterday Keshav threw up all of his dinner and his face was covered in vomit. He also wakes up because of cough every night and is up for 2 hours before he goes back to sleep again.
Homeopathic remedy for the cough did not do anything. We had to take him to the doctor who put him on anti-biotic. He has been taking it for 2 days now. Today morning when he woke up he was giggling for no reason. Signs of Yeast aggravation from the antibiotic. He also has been throwing up since morning every time his mother would try and give him the antibiotic medicine.
God help us cure this child.
It should be noted that we have taken Keshav off from all kind of diets. He drinks regular milk now, goat's milk. GFCF diet or any other intervention did not do anything for Keshav. We have tried it for a year and i think we did more harm than good by depriving Keshav of milk for a year. No more diet restriction for our child.

The cough doesnt go away

Keshav has been coughing a lot in the nights during sleep. For the past one week he has been waking up in the night every single day coughing and even throwing up. The other day I did not realize that he had vomitted and he slept in his vomit for about an hour or so. It is sad to see him like this.
I gave him Pulstilla 200C but that didnt seem to help him at all. Yesterday we started giving him the Kali Bichrome 30C and today 10/21/2010, he has had a lot of mucus discharge from his nose. By a lot i mean copious amount of mucuos. Every minute, someone had to clean his nose.

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Same story last night again 10/06/2010. Keshav went to sleep last night at 9PM. Woke up coughing really bad and making strange noise and threw up every bit of his dinner. It is heart breaking to see the kid soooo tired and throwing up and coughing without opening his eyes.
Note should be taken that I strongly feel that this has got nothing to do with his homeopathic clear this month. Everyone in the family is sick, including Rochelle who can hardly breathe. Rochelle was even crying from being sick.I am still sick and my throat still hurts. Today we took Keshav to the doctor to make sure that he hasnt got any infection of the throat or the ears. He doesnt have any infections and no fever. Just a bad series of cough which aggravates in the night accompanied by some runny nose.
Same story last night 10/05/2010. Keshav went to sleep at around 8:45PM and it wasnt hard to put him to sleep because he was tired. He woke up around 10:30 coughing and crying and it was hard for him to swallow and perhaps even breathe. We took him downstairs for an hour, gave him some water. He started to settle down and started playing. We took him to sleep again at around 12:00, and he started to cough again and this time he threw up. After that, the poor little boy was so tired, that he couldnt just keep his eyes open. Rochelle had to rock him and keep him upright for about an hour so that he could get some sleep.
Its been very hard for him for the last 3 nights waking up coughing and not getting enough sleep. I hope he recovers from his cough soon.

Tuesday, October 5, 2010

Keshav woke up last night again at 2:00PM, coughing. He then cried a lot, until we really woke him took him downstairs and gave him some milk. He drank his milk and went to sleep after waking up for a full 1.5 hrs during which he also watched his video. The cough seems to get worse in the night when he is sleeping. He does not have any fever though.
On Sunday 10/03/2010 I gave him the thing that i gave him in december of 2009.

Monday, October 4, 2010

Keshav has been having a cough. In his entire lifetime uptil now he has never had a cough this bad. It is waking him up in the night. My gut feeling says that it is not a reaction of the MMR,Varicella,HepA clear. It is something that he has gotten from us. Rochelle is also complaining of sore throat and has the sniffles.
If it is a reaction to the homeopathy then its good.

Runny Nose

Keshav has had a runny nose since yesterday. I heard him coughing a couple of times in the night yesterday and today. He has a little bit of cough as well. We changed the L-Carnitine to Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Keshav has been taking that since wednesday 09/29/2010. Currently, he gets Sacchrum Officinale 30C twice a week and CCC LM6 everyday. He also gets Vernix 30C once a week on Saturday.

Thursday, September 30, 2010

We started Keshav on the MMR,Varicella,HepA[30c] clear on Monday 09/27/2010. Today morning we noticed that Keshav has been having a runny nose again. Rochelle, reports that since Monday(09/27/2010) this week, Keshav's mouthing and drooling has increased.
It is known to us now that Keshav has a low muscle tone as it was confirmed by various experts in the field. His low muscle tone hampers his movements and might be also relation to him not chewing his food and eventually no babbling and no sound production.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

For the past 2 nights 09/27/2010 and 09/28/2010 we have noticed that it is hard for Keshav to fall asleep in the night although he hasnt been taking a nap. He is just sitting up for nearly an hour before going to sleep. Rochelle reports that last night Keshav woke up crying and was trembling while crying in the night. May be a nightmare may be something else.We dont know.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

For the past one week Keshav has had a runny nose, which is very evident. We have had to clean his nose every few minutes because it is really runny. Most of us at home are sick with runny nose too, so it is really hard to say whether Keshav is having a reaction to the MMR control course or whether Keshav is just having a common cold that he could have caught from anyone of us at home.
Based on my reasearch, I started a secret something yesterday night(Monday 09/13/2010) for Keshav. We will see how that goes.
Keshav went to sleep early at around 8:00PM last night as he was tired from all the activities at school and home. Surprisingly he woke up at 3:00AM wanting to play and his mother had to force him back to sleep. He did not sleep until 5:00AM in the morning.

Sunday, September 5, 2010

Keshav has flu like symptoms and he woke up coughing in the night today. I am sick and so is Rochelle. So i am thinking it is something that he got from us and it has nothing to do with the MMR in any way. It was apparent that the kid is having a hard time swallowing because he would cry every time he swallowed. Today Sunday 09/05/2010 we have noticed that.
He has been sleeping quite well without waking up in the nights.

Thursday, September 2, 2010

We started Keshav on CCC LM6 potency on Monday, giving it everyday since then. Also SacchOff 30C twice in a week. Since tuesday 08/31/2010, we have noticed that Keshav is mouthing and biting everything that comes his way. Rochelle reports that at school his mouthing is out of control. His mouthing had actually reduced quite a bit over the last 2 months but seems to be coming back. We are also doing the control course of the MMR, so we are not sure whether return of the mouthing is due to the MMR or the CCC LM6. Keshav also got a rash on his tummy. Small chicken skin like red bumps which is ittchy as he is trying to scratch it. Also there are some rashes on his cheek and chin.
These rashes were apparent at Indrani's place on Saturday 09/04/2010.

Keshav had a good session today. His Communication and Social Skills were excellent, pointing was especially good! He still does not make eye contact when I say his name. But, when we said "Come Here" when out of sight, Keshav came to us 100% of the time!!! Object Imitation was also really good, ring on, ring bell and roll ball are all 100% throughout the session. He is still having some trouble with receptive instructions such as arms out and hands down. Receptive ID was great with book and cup. Keshav produced a ton of mands today! 126 total in 1 hour and 45 min session! He was even doing a couple signs at a time, for example, listening to music and asking for chips, and did not confuse the two. During play skills, we are slowly working are way towards riding the tricycle. He pushed the bike and held the handle bars today. Object imitation w/discrim was great,we introduced fly a plane. Overall, good session.

Today was a bit tougher for Keshav. He seemed to have a much shorter fuse and was much less tolerant to time at the table. He still performed well on his programs and made vast improvements with GMI today, especially with "hands down." Keshav did demonstrate some confusion between the signs for "music/eat" today. When the helicopter was first brought out, Keshav signed appropriately the first 20 times or so. The following 15-20 trials, however, Keshav was immediately signing, "eat" instead of "music." We worked on this extensively throughout the session. When we brought the piano out, Keshav's sign for "music" was very clean and concise! He was highly motivated by the piano and this seemed to correct the issue. Keshav did become distressed with certain songs, another sign that something was a bit off today. We were able to get Keshav to push his new tricycle today, but he is still expressing distress with sitting on it. We will keep working on this as well! Lastly, during music/dance time at the end of the session, Keshav imitated dance moves that Rochelle was doing (e.g., turning around, arms up for "hooray", etc.). Great job!

Pretty good session! I came it today from 12:30-2:30 to make up for this upcoming Labor Day. I have never worked with Keshav at any time other than 10:00-12:00 and I was very impressed with how well he did with the change in schedule! Seeing the notes from a couple of days ago regarding pointing and sign discrimination, I have been putting a lot of emphasis on targetting these skills during session. Today, we incorporated bubbles into time with the musical helicopter and Keshav's signs were very clear! He even referenced the objects he was requesting with eye contact as he signed. We have also been targeting his eye contact with me during manding and temporarily witholding the reinforcement to gain that eye contact and he did great! Fantastic job!

Very good day again! Keshav mastered Receptive Identification, "car!" Great job! He also mastered "Come Here" while engaged in an activity from various distances. We are thinking that now we could start working on this skill out of sight. We will probe this during our next session to see how it goes. :) Also, Keshav continued initiating various play activities during free play time today! He held out the pillow during couch play, walked over to various musical toys and manded appropriately and did the same thing with bubbles (hence the 166 mands today!). Keshav also began humming the "mmmmm" sound during music time! He did this 4x throughout, exclusively when we were playing with the helicopter! Fantastic job! We did see some confusion between the "open" and "more" sign today when Keshav was requesting more of an object or activity, but corrected himself after a couple of times when we shaped the correct response. Keshav is doing well with the non-identical matching when he scans, however, about 20-40% of the time, Keshav is dropping the picture cards as I deliver the instruction, "match" before he scans. Just something to watch for. Lastly, Keshav imitated me putting on my glasses (he put on the potato head glasses) during play time with Mr. Potato Head! Great job, especially considering how distress he was with this when we first introduced it! :)

Keshav had a good session today, he was more cranky and whining a lot more than usual, but we got through all of the programs at least once. A lot of initiation with play, like bringing over the tunnel. He did a great job with Mr. Potato head, he picked up the ear right away and tried to put it in the one of the holes, he doesn't know which holes for each body part yet, but he's trying really hard and is interested in the toy. Manding was great, he had 20 independent mands for chip and only 1 prompted. Pointing was excellent today!! Very clear and concise. Receptive Id is going a lot better, car was 100%. We introduced a new puzzle (12p), he needed a lot of prompted and seemed to get frustrated when he couldn't' put the piece in. Object imitation went really well, we introduced ring bell, which he did a great job 100% on the first day! Ring on was very difficult for Keshav, but he was trying hard, easily frustrated. Squeeze toy was also great for the first time 2/3 correct. Besides the whining, Keshav had a good session.

Updates from 08/24/2010 to 08/30/2010
It has been really hard for me to keep up with Keshav's daily blog as i have been terribly busy at work. Keshav had an overall OK week. His balance his still off, he still drools, he still mouths object, he still is unaware of people around him,his abdomen is still extended and he is still non-verbal and his babbling hasnt returned yet. Yesterday sunday 08/29 at Nitya's B'Day party he wasnt interested in anyone around. He wouldnt even look at anyone. So socially we havent seen any changes/gains in him whatsoever. He does seem, more attached to his mother as she takes care of him 24/7. He is still unresponsive to his name and does not address his mom as mama or me as dada. He still does not point and still does not follow any simple instruction(s). So all the classic autistic symptoms still remain inspite of all the intervention that we have done for him. He can point to all his body parts but he was doing that in Feburary of 2010 even before we started any kind of intervention.
His sleep is definitely better and he sleeps through the night. However if he takes a nap in the afternoon it is still hard for him to fall asleep and he tosses and turns in the bed. We have discovered that it is just best to keep him up in the afternoon.

ABA therapist note 08/28/2010
Keshav flew again with all his programs today. His GMI look really good considering today was just the second day "turn around" and "point" was introduced. With "raise hand" he responds and imitates quickly when I say, "I'm ready" since this is what he learned from school. I know it's a verbal prompt so I only do it in the first trial then 2nd and 3rd trial he does imitates spontaneously. Object Imitation including discrimination looks wonderful. I really can't believe how well he is doing with this program. I could just remember when Morgan first introduced the "sunglasses on" Keshav was just so distressed, and thought of holding it off...but now he is a pro... Great job! Keshav. Receptive ID as well as 2D&2D Non-ID matching looks awesome! Play skills with car is looking a lot better and he did follow my car with his own car going up the ramp that I made but he doesn't seem to be as interested playing with it right now. His manding looks really great. His discrimination with the use of signs is much better, occasionally he still scrolls through them during playtime because I'm waiting for his eye gaze/contact with mands and he gets impatient and scrolls through all his signs, so I just correct him right away so it won't confuse him.

ABA therapist note 08/27/2010
Best session ever! Keshav scored 100% on ALL of his Object Imitation targets, including those done in discrimination! We also included two new targets in Gross Motor Imitation, including "turn around." Keshav only required a partial prompt the first time presented to imitate turn around! All of his responses are much quicker and much more concise as well! We also had the most successful free play time as well today! Keshav seemed much more interested/motiviated by our activities than he ever has, manding for "more" with great eye contact! Keshav is also doing very well with his manding for chips. I would say the he is manding appropriately about 90% of the time independently! Great job! We noticed that he was eyeing the musical helicopter anout 10 minutes into this portion of the session, brought it over, and Keshav successfully manded for "music" and then "chip" while the music was playing! :) Lastly, we have been doing musical chairs (about 5-6 trials) at the end of the session and although Keshav requires prompting to walk around the chair, Keshav has begun sitting down when the music stops! :)

Morgan Mix at 11:48 AM
Keshav had a great session today! I worked through all the programs and some we went through twice. He did awesome with object imitation almost 100% throughout the targets! He is having a hard time with hands down and arms out with receptive instruction. Many prompts needed for him to be successful. Receptive Identification is getting much better, the first 3 trials are 50/50, then when ran again later in the session, Keshav got 100% throughout both targets! Tons of independent mands today. 125 total, chip is shaping up to be very clear and concise. 20 independent signs for chip today! Non-identical matching was also really good, 100% 5 trials at the beginning of the session and 5 at the end - I even switched up the pictures of different animals and Keshav still got all of them correct. Overall, fantastic session!

ABA therapist note 08/26/2010
Keshav had a great session today. We got through all of his programs with ease. He is doing a great job with gross motor imitation almost 100% for all targets. Manding was great today, 112 mands total throughout the session! He is independently signing chip, about 16 times the last 15 minutes, very little prompting was needed. With object imitation and object imitation with discrimination he needs prompting for the first trial, and then he does a great job the 2nd and 3rd time it's presented. Play skills are also going really well. I incorporated rolling with playing bowling and Keshav is having a blast playing this! I am continuing to probe musical chairs, a lot of full prompts are needed with this still. Overall, great session.

ABA therapist note 08/25/2010
Great day! Keshav is making good strides with Receptive Object Idenification, clearly and concisely identifying "car' and "book" 2/3 times. (We continued beyond the 3 trials and Keshav identified each object 4/5 times!) Great job! Also, Keshav's sign for "chip" is looking really good! He is signing like a pro, making the sign very swiftly (like he does for "open"). We were able to set up 26 opportunities for this today. It is difficult to get more because he becomes satiated with the chips, but his independence level with the sign is probably around 50-75%. I will keep close track of this on Friday and report back. Keshav's participation in the car scenario has greatly improved this week! He is imitating and even initiating specific favorite activities with the cars (crashing :) ). Per parent report, Keshav is playing appropriately with the trains/tracks at school as well! Great job again today with discrimination between "bubbles" and "music." I set it up on a couple of occasions where Keshav switched back and forth between mands and he deomnstrated good independence with these!

ABA therapist note 08/24/2010
Keshav had a good session today. He was a little more distracted than usual, he was very interested in his toys and would scroll through signs to get music or open while doing some programs like gross motor imitation. But he did very well with all of his programs, more prompting was needed for some skills but overall he did a great job. Pointing was excellent today, he was even pointing at the pictures while doing receptive ID (3D & 2D). Receptive ID (2D) was 50/50, and (3D) was about the same. He is typically touching the picture or object that was requested. Non-identical matching is going a lot better, he is responding better the second and third time the cards are presented. Play skills were great, along with manding and all imitation. Musical chairs is going okay, a lot of prompting is needed to walk around the chair, then sit when the music stops. Overall, great session.

Monday, August 23, 2010

Last night Keshav went to bed around 8:30PM. He slept through the night without waking up and woke up only in the morning around 7-7:30AM.
Rochelle reports that Keshav fell down at the school and he has a bluish bump on his head. He wouldnt let us put an ice pack on it. Keshav slept after his school around 4:15PM and slept until 6PM. Later in the evening we took Keshav to the park and he was very happy being on the swing. He did not want to get off the swing and wanted to keep swinging. Today, I revealed Keshav's condition to some family friends. Keshav went to sleep around 11:30PM at Nikhil's house and slept through the night waking up by himself at around 7:30AM.

ABA Therapist Notes
Great day for Keshav! He is doing a fantastic job with his programs! We flew through his targets today and I was very impressed at how much he has improved with putting sunglasses on! He is no longer demonstrating any signs of distress and imitated putting them on 100% of the time today! He also did very well with his new object imitation target, "hat on." I had anticipated that his initial reaction to the hat would be similar to that of the sunglasses, but he only needed inital prompting to put it on! :) We also used some of our free play time today to work on discrimination with his signs and Keshav did a great job discriminating between "music" and "bubbles!!" He even switched his request up throughout the 10 minutes or so that we worked on this! At this beginning of the session, when a couple of options were presented to serve as reinforcement, Kesahv signed "music" and pointed at the musical book!! Great job! Keshav has also begun imitating some of my oral motor movements during play. For example, today I began whistling the tune that was playing on one of his toys and Keshav imitated the shape of my mouth with his! Keshav has also greatly improved with the car scenario, requiring less intrusive prompts to race, go up and down the ramp, and follow me on the track! Lastly, we started Mr. Potato Head today and Keshav put one of the ears, one of the arms the nose, and the hat in the correct place on the head without prompting! Great job, Keshav!

Sunday, August 22, 2010

Keshav slept at 9:30 PM last night and slept through the night waking up only at 7AM. In the morning today i noticed that his vocalization is a little bit more. No babbling or anything but some noises here and there mostly screaming screeching sounds. Rochelle also tells me that in the past week, he has been happy to see her when she comes to pick him up at the school. The only new thing that we did with him is the TriEnza Enzyme from Houston Enzymes. Rochelle tells me that Keshav pooped twice today and both times poops were soft. Yesterday saturday he pooped twice both were soft poops.
ABA Therapist Notes
Keshav had a wonderful session today. I really worked on shaping up some of his "lazy" gross motor imitations and mands. For example, working on pointing index finger for touch nose, instead of just using all of his fingers to touch his nose. Also, shaping up pointing for the sign chip. He did a great job with all of his programs. I probed receptive picture id with the picture of an apple. I did 5 mass trials of errorless teaching and then moved to partial prompting, mostly gestures toward the apple. By the end of the session he was touching apple without any prompts! He did a great job manding today! 122 total mands for today's session! Great job with chip, 15 independent signs. When playing bowling, Keshav learned to "roll" the ball by imitation and did a great job! Overall, great session!
Keshav slept at 8:45PM tonite.

Friday, August 20, 2010

Notes for Friday 08/20/1010
Keshav woke up at around 8AM by himself in the morning. According to Rochelle he is sleeping through the night. Keshav pooped twice today and both times the poops were soft and not mushy/airy/loose.

ABA Therapist Notes
Morning Session
Very good session for Keshav1 He did extremely well with his Gross Motor Imitation targets today, scoring 100% for all three targets! :) Keshav is also doing a fantastic job with generalizing his mands. Rochelle picked up a bubble blower toy and once Keshav realized what the toy did, he signed appropriately "bubbles" every time! He is also signing "music" for a variety of activities (e.g., helicopter, CD, computer, musical book). He has also begun signing "chip" independently!! Per parent report, Keshav waved and vocalized "hi" to the speech pathologist independently.yesterday! Great job! Also, Rochelle spoke to the staff at Keshav's school and they do not really do group games as part of their curriculum (something we discussed at our meeting on Monday.) Lastly, we probed Receptive Actions today and Keshav was unable to identify any of the actions on the 2D cards. We are going to work on manding for "chips" right now and probe musical chairs. I will include another comment following to let you know how it went!
Evening Session
Keshav was very playful and initiated play a couple times throughout the session! He picked up the tunnel, walked over and handed it to me and signed open! The tunnel was very reinforcing. He did the same thing with the blanket. He picked up the blanket, walked over to me, and signed open. Play skills went really good today, he was very motivated and happy while playing bowling and Mr. Potato Head. Eye contact was also really great today. As far as object imitation, he is still having a hard time putting on the sunglasses and that's the only target he didn't get 100% on. Touch nose as a receptive command and imitation was difficult for Keshav today. He also had a difficult time with receptive identification. The receptive Action pictures were also difficult, but we just started. I used pictures of Keshav eating, drinking and sleeping in hopes that it would help him attend to the pictures more. The Object imitation with discrimination 2 went really well, he had no problems imitating me with the random sequence. Keshav also independently signed chips 10 times!!!! Overall, great session!

Keshav slept at 8PM tonite.

My observations
Whatever the therapist might say, I think Keshav's overall understanding is not a lot. He hasnt gained anything. He is unable to respond to his name, does not point, doesnt acknowledge when i get back home. He also does not know how to discriminate between the signs and will use all the signs in his repertoire to get to stuff that he wants. He is still obsessed with spinning lids and is still looking somewhere else without making proper eye contact while saying bye to me in the morning. His gait is still unsteady, muscle tone still low. Overall i would say Keshav has gained nothing that he wouldnt have gained without all these interventions.

Notes for Thursday 08/19/2010
Keshav woke up at 7AM in the morning and later that day we had to go to the ENT doctor for his check up. At the ENT doctor Keshav did not co-operate and the visit was an utter failure. They couldnt check his hearing in anyway. According to the ENT doctor from Keshav's previous hearing tests, his hearing seems to be fine and he has no inner ear fluid.
Keshav pooped once and it was loose/mushy.
Also, I went to the DAN doctor and according to the DAN doctor, Keshav's urine test(Organic Acid Test) and previously his stool test indicated that he has high yeast. His urine test also indicated that he has very high Oxidative Stress. For yeast they prescribed Nystatin and for the Oxidative Stress they gave a transdermal Anti-Oxidant. I think the transdermal antioxidant might have some ALA,glutathione or COQ10. The DAN doctor probably does not want to use oral ALA as it is shown to aggravate yeast. DAN doctor also indicated that Keshav might have some methylation issues and some mitochondrial issues.
We gave Keshav his second dose of MMR10M in the night yesterday. Keshav has shown no reaction to the MMR1M or the MMR10M. He did show some reaction, that of a runny nose that lasted for about a week on the MMR 200C. Keshav went to sleep at 10PM tonite.

Wednesday, August 18, 2010

Keshav slept at 8PM last night. He briefly woke up at around 10PM and was sitting but then Rochelle patted him back to sleep. He woke up by himself at around 7AM in the morning today. Keshav pooped twice today and the second time the stool was towards mushy.
ABA Therapist Notes
Good day! We followed the new schedule as indicated in the meeting notes and Keshav adjusted well to playing with me vs. playing with me with another toy. Keshav also did well with Object Imitation w/ Discrimination 2 (in the natural environment), scoring 2/3 on all targets. Initially he would attempt to stack his cup on top of my two cups, put the block in my bowl and stack his blocks on top of mine, but he quickly picked up on the expectation and did very well. We actually then played with the foam blocks for a good five minutes, incorporating manding and silly crashing and Keshav really seemed to enjoy it! One thing that I noticed with Keshav's manding for "bubbles" today is that since Rochelle has been working on "chip," Keshav is expressing "eat" and requiring prompting to pull his hand back from his mouth a bit. We will target this again on Friday. Also, Keshav DOES NOT like putting sunglasses on AT ALL. This took both of us to prompt today. On Friday we are going to try using a bit larger pair of sunglasses to see if the tight fit of Keshav's sunglasses around his head may have something to do with his distress (He picks them up and will bring them to his face at mouth level). Lastly, we will probe the Receptive Actions and Musical Chairs on Friday. It slipped my mind until I began typing these notes and from here we are going to work on manding for chips! :)

Yesterday night Keshav went to sleep at around 8:30PM in the evening and did not wake up until 8:00AM in the morning. Rochelle had to actually wake him up in the morning. This is the first time that he has slept 12 hours and that too without waking up in the night and had to be actually woken up by his mother. Since he did not take a nap in the afternoon, it wasnt hard at all to put him to bed.
Rochelle reports that Keshav pooped twice today and both times stool was soft.
Today, night Keshav went to sleep at 8PM.
ABA Therapist Notes
Keshav had a great session. I introduced 2D non-identical matching with 3 animal cards (Bear, Koala, Mouse), he did a pretty good job since it was his first try at this. Bear 2/5, Kaola 2/5, Mouse 2/5. Keshav is still having trouble with receptive identification even in FO2. Book and car were 0/5 each. He is not attending to the materials and is not interested at all. "Turn Around" for both GMI and RI doesn't look too good and was prompted most of the time. ( Morgan, by the way I added "turn around" on the GMI since Saloni said it to do it as gross motor instead to see how he will do with it). I also put out the object imitation with discrimination in a random order and Keshav did not do well with this. He didn't quite seem to know what to do. When I put them in order like the usual way, he flew through them. Other programs were great, he is also doing really good at play skills, he seems a lot more interested in the materials. He tends to over generalize his signs again and tried to work on discriminating each one. I introduced the new sign for chips in the last 15 minutes of the session most of it are prompted to make it error less and will make him to get the sign quicker.Overall, great session.

Monday, August 16, 2010

Last night Keshav went to sleep at 11:00PM. He slept through the night and woke up by himself at around 9:00AM. Keshav's sleep seems to have improved. He is not waking up during the night.

On Saturday 08/4/2010, Keshav did not poop, which is not like him at all. However on Sunday he pooped twice. The first time the poop was hard/soft, the second time it was soft/mushy. Today Monday 08/16/2010 Keshav did not poop until in the evening after dinner which is not like him at all. His poop was hard/soft and it wasnt a lot. He might be a little constipated.

Keshav is does not have a runny nose anymore. He is done with MMR1M and today we will be starting the MMR 10M. Keshav got his MMR10M in the night just before he went to sleep. He went to sleep at around 8:30PM.
Rochelle reports that Keshav is doing OK at school. Keshav still doesnt get exited or acknowledges when i get back home. His pointing towards the light is gone. He is still drooling a lot, still mouthing on objects and his walking is soooooooo wobbly. Nothing seems to have improved in any way. His development seems to have come to a halt. He is not growing. He is still very much a baby as compared to kids his age and even the ones 4-5 months younger than him. Overall I dont see any gains from whatever we are doing whether it be Supplements, Homeopathy or ABA/Speech therapy.

Friday, August 13, 2010

Yesterday night Keshav went to sleep around 10:45PM and slept through the night waking up at around 8AM. Yesterday Rochelle gave Keshav the TriEnza enzyme 3 times and today Keshav is having some loose stools. He went 3 times already and according to Rochelle all three times were loose. Today we will stop the TriEnza and continue with Kirkman enzyme. We will restart Trienza on Monday.
ABA Therapist notes
Good day! Keshav performed very well on his targets today, however, he did seem a little sluggish. He continues to improve on Receptive Identification (car- 60%, cup-80%, and book-80% today!). We also noticed that Keshav was A LOT more vocal today. We typically saw this when Keshav really wanted something. A lot of "aaaaahhhh"s, etc. with eye contact! :) Keshav also did well with "come here." (100%). I am thinking that from here we could introduce this while he is more distracted/engaged since he is not responding to come here as consistently outside of our session time. Keshav is also demonstrating greater independence with his motions to accompany the songs and I only had to prompt him to mand for "bubbles" one time today! Great job!

Observations for Wednesday 08/11/2010
Keshav woke up at 7:00AM. According to Rochelle he just pooped once and it was soft and not mushy/airy. It was a lot though. This is good that he is going just once and taking care of business in one straight shot.
ABA therapist report
Great day for Keshav! He is really starting to pick up on new skills at a quicker rate, which is making us fly through all of his targets! Today he successful 80% of the time in identifying the "book" and "cup" for Receptive Identification! His responses are very clear and concise for this skill! Per parent report, Keshav had the opportunity to play with playdough at school and he was poking and rolling the playdough just as we have been during session! It's so great to hear that he continues to generalize skills into the natural environment! Also, today we tried non-identical 3D-3D and 3D-2D/2D-3D matching to he how he would do since he has long mastered identical matching. He was very successful with the 3D-3D matching, matching appropriately 100% of the time in a F07 at the table. He struggled a bit more with the 3D-2D/2D-3D matching, only responding correctly 50% of the time, but not bad for a new skill! Great job!
ABA Therapist evening session report
Keshav had a great session, he seemed a little sleepy but for the most part he worked well with all programs. Object Imitation and Object Imitation with discrimination was fantastic today! We incorporated 3d non-identical matching and Keshav did awesome! He got 6/8 correct. Manding was great for music, open, more and bubbles!! Is still not responding when name is called, and we need to prompt him a lot to point with his finger for preferred items. Overall, the session went well!

Rochelle reports that Keshav is still mouthing on objects a lot both at home and at school. Overall he is doing ok in school. No big new things happening with him.

Observations for tuesday 08/10/2010
Keshav went to sleep early last night 08/10/2010 around 8:30PM and woke up early this morning 08/11/2010 at around 7AM. According to Rochelle, he slept pretty well and slept through the night.Yesterday, tuesday i gave him the MMR 1M.
Rochelle reports that he did pretty well in SUMMIT School today. Keshav went to the mall playing area yesterday and went around independently, without playing on many of the equipment.
One thing to note is that for the past one month, Keshav does not acknowledge when he sees me or when i get back home from work. I clearly remember that up until first week of June he would be happy to see me when i got back home from work and would want to be picked up. This has changed now.
Yesterday 08/10/2010 Keshav pooped twice and the poops were soft and not mushy/airy. Rochelle let Keshav just play by himself all day today and did not do any ABA with him.

Monday, August 9, 2010

Keshav went to bed at around 12:30AM last night. He woke up today morning crying and it was evident that the kid is having problem breathing because of the cold that he has. His voice also seems to be a bit horse. There is however no coughing. Keshav, is having a cold with runny nose and Rochelle just reported to me that his mucous is turning yellow. He doesn’t have a fever.

ABA Therapist Report
Fantastic day! Keshav made great improvements with Receptive ID of book (40%), cup (80%), and car (60%). His responses are much clearer and he is putting his hand in his lap at the table with minimal prompting! He even began responding to the instruction, "hands down" today, a skill introduced at the end of last week. Keshav is also close to mastering out all of his Object Imitation targets! Just 2 more to go and Keshav will have 30!! Keshav's independence with signing for "bubbles" also looked great today. We only needed to prompt him to sign appropriately 25% of the time today! He was very focused today and we were also able to hit ALL of his maintenance targets as well. I am very pleased to report that out of the 68 mastered skills we targeted today, Keshav only required prompting for 5 of them! We will practice these again on Wednesday!! Great job Keshav!

Rochelle reports that Keshav did fairly well in SUMMIT school. He started getting confortable with the teachers and other kids. His eye is improving with the teachers but not with other kids yet. Keshav pooped just once today. The poop was soft and it was a lot according to Rochelle. Still contains some undigested food particles. Keshav went to sleep at 8:30 PM today and woke up around 11:30PM as he was unable to breathe due to congestion in his nose. He cried but we were eventually able to calm him down and put him back to sleep. We were not able to give him the MMR 1M today night. So we will give it tomorrow night and move the thursday schedule to Friday night.

Sunday, August 8, 2010

Observations for Saturday 08/07/2010
Keshav pooped twice yesterday and they were soft and not mushy/airy. It was golden yellow with pieces of undigested carrots in them. Keshav went to visit grandmom yesterday and Rochelle reports that he was doing OK.
Keshav has been screaming now-a-days whenever he is exited. He still does the odd body behavior when he is exited and lets out a shrilly scream, when exited. He still has a runny nose.
Observations for Sunday 08/082010
Keshav pooped once today and it was soft and not mushy/airy.Rochell reports that he pooped a lot. It was golden yellow with pieces of undigested carrots in them. Keshav returned from grandmother's home in the evening today. I noticed that his mouthing was off the charts. He is putting everything in his mouth and was even biting and chewing on his shoes, his feet, his stroller, the stroller cover and everything in sight.
Keshav intiated the swinging game with me and brought me the bedsheet in which we do the swinging game. Any intiation of games is a good thing. He took a nap in the afternoon today from 4-5PM. He wont be going to sleep until 12:00 AM for sure.
Keshav still has a runny nose and at times it is difficult for him to breathe,I think. Also, he has some sort of a red rash(eczema rash may be) on his cheeks. It was present Friday and Saturday as well but it wasnt so conspicuos as it is today. Will try to take a picture of it and post it here.

Friday, August 6, 2010

Yesterday night(thursday) Keshav woke up a couple of times but went back to sleep after being patted by his mother. He might have been having some congestion in his nose.
ABA Therapist Notes
Great day! Keshav flew through all of his programs today and is making great progress. His signs looked really good today! He demonstrated much greater independence with "bubbles", signing completely independently 10x today! We also incorporated this skill into time at the table and Keshav actually very clearly began signing for "more music" (4x) and "more bubbles" (1x). Sometimes this would be Keshav trying out various signs until he gets the right one, but when he signed "more," we asked, "more what?" and Keshav signed "music" and then began signing "more music." Great job! Also, per parent report, Keshav has created his own sign for "tickle!!" I got a chance to see this at the very end of our session today and it was very clear what he was requesting! Hopefully we can capture this on video so Saloni can see it! :) We have been working on playing with cars (in the tunnel, racing, etc.) but Keshav really doesn't seem that interested. We will continue to try new ways to make this interesting and fun for Keshav. Have a great weekend!

Keshav went to sleep at around 7:30PM tonite. While talking to SIMA on the phone Keshav woke up because he was unable to sleep due to congestion in his nose. He was really having a tough time breathing. He woke up at around 11:00 PM and didnt go to sleep up until 3:00AM in the night.
Rochelle reports that Keshav pooped 2twice today and the poops were soft and not mushy/foamy/airy.

Thursday, August 5, 2010

Yesterday Wednesday 08/04/2010, Rochelle reported that Keshav did not poop the entire day. Keshav slept early at 9PM as usual but kept waking up and had to be put back to sleep, probably because of discomfort. Rochelle doesnt know how Keshav performed in Summit School yesterday.
ABA Therapist Note for Wednesday 08/04/2010
Good day for Keshav! A bit of a slow start, but Keshav performed very well with his targets today! Keshav has also greatly improved with his sign for "bubbles." He had many more independent responses today. Also, Keshav's pointing to pop the bubbles also looks great! Keshav is also improving with Rec. ID. Today he correctly identified the cup 4/5 times presented! He also really seemed to acquire this concept by the end of the session, identifiying the last two trials for each target! Keshav also initiated play with the pillow on the couch with me again today! At one point, I stopped to see if he would approach me with the pillow to continue and he did! Great job!

Today, Thursday morning Keshav woke up early at 6:45AM, and pooped around 8:15. The stool was hard and he might be a little constipated. Rochelle reports that he pooped a second time and it was soft the second time.
I noticed that Keshav had a little bit of a runny nose when i got back home. As usual Keshav went to bed early at around 8:30PM.
ABA Therapy Notes
Keshav did fairly good with his performance maybe because it wasn't the usual time. I just thought I will do it after lunch and see how he would do. I guess nothing compares to a fresh morning start. Keshav was 0% on GMI "arms out", RI "touch nose" and "hands down." These are all new targets started though so will see how he will do next week. Object Imitation with descrimination was fine too... He gets distracted on spinning the bowl for "Bowl on Head" and "poke playdoh" his trying to mouth it. Play skills was ok, He is working on a new jigsaw puzzle so he needed some prompting. His object sorting is improving everyday though which he requires less prompting. Receptive Identification is also much better which he got 60%. Morgan, I don't think Keshav have mastered pretend sleep with baby. I just want to clarify that with you. Manding/Signs looks good but at times he still gets confuse and still have tendency to over generalized his signs. Saloni/Morgan, I was able to revisit his mastered targets with 2D & 3D matching and he forgot a little bit and got only 7/10. I also did picture matching which he did good and his scanning with the pictures are still great.

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

Keshav slept at 9PM last night. It wasnt hard to put him to sleep and he woke up at 8AM in the morning today on Tuesday. Rochelle, reports that he slept through the night and was up only for a brief moment when she tried to change his diaper. Yesterday night was the first administration of the MMR200C.

We have been trying to potty train Keshav and although he doesnt let us know when he has to go. It has almost been 3 weeks that we have been trying this with him. Although, he doesnt let us know when he has to go, he has been patient enough for the last 3 weeks to sit on his potty and tries to pee. We have to stimulate him by doing the sheeeee..sheeee sound.

Keshav pooped 3 times today and all the poops were soft and not mushy/airy/foamy.
Keshav is not doing well at all in his ABA therapy. With Rochelle today he only seems to be interested in the reinforcer today. He is not doing any of the taks at the table properly. This is a major major regression of his skills. He doesnt seem to understand the skills that he had learnt and mastered..tap table, tap legs..nothing at all.
Keshav went to bed early at 9PM. He did not take a nap in the afternoon today. Gave SaccOff LM6 before bed today. Havent started the gemmo products yet. Will start on the weekend.

Monday, August 2, 2010

Observation for Sunday 08/01/2010
Last night on saturday Keshav slept late because he had taken a solid 2.5 hr afternoon Nap on saturday afternoon. Sunday morning he woke up by himself around 11:00AM. According to Rochelle's report he did not wake up in the night and slept through the night, which is good.
After breakfast Keshav pooped and the poop was mushy/airy.

We went to walmart and Keshav had lunch/dinner at around 5:30PM. He pooped the second time and this time the poop was formed and not airy/mushy.
We went to the Park and Keshav was very much interested in seeing people swing and swinging himself. He kept asking(in his own way by holding on to his mother's leg) to get on the swing. Keshav enjoys being on the swing now-a-days. He still is having some issues walking outside in general and has aversion walking on the grass.
Keshav slept early at around 9:15PM on Sunday and according to Rochelle, slept through the night and woke up at 6AM Monday morning.

ABA Therapist's Note for Monday 08/02/2010
Good day! We had a little bit of a slow start, but Keshav made some great strides today! We tried presenting the three objects for Receptive Identification at one time (vs. presenting 1 with two number cards) because we thought Keshav might have been getting distracted by the numbers, which he finds reinforcing. He responded about the same, however, he was attending to the objects more and scanning the field! We will continue to present it this way for now. Keshav also demonstrated greater independence today with a new song, "Open, Shut Them" (a school song). Many of the motions are comparable to those in other songs or are actions that he has learned through our GMI program. He did a great job opening and shutting his hand after an initial partial prompt (like "Twinkle Twinkle") and imitating putting his hands in his lap. :) We also noticed today that when we prompted Keshav to jump (either in imitation or in RI, he became dependent upon the prompt, reaching out for us to pick him up when we presented the target again later on during the session. We waited him out a bit more and he was able to do it independently. Just something to watch for/keep on our radar for future consideration. Keshav is also demonstrating great eye-hand coordination with batting! Today, Rochelle held the small ball by its tag and Keshav hit the ball multiple times without even making contact with her hand! Keshav also responded independently to "Give me ball," during this activity, scanning the floor, picking up the ball and bringing it to Rochelle who was 5-7 feet away! Lastly, we noticed that Keshav is turning and looking in response to "Hello Keshav" sung as it is in his new classroom. So, we started interspersing this with just his name and Keshav was looking in response to his name being called at a much higher frequency than he has EVER!! Super exciting!!

Keshav has cracks/canker-sores on either side of his lips that Rochelle showed to me on Sunday(08/01/2010) morning. Dont know whether it is because of the MMR or residue of the DTaP 10M still coming out. Gave Sacchrum LM6 yesterday night before going to bed to Keshav.

Keshav pooped once today and the consistency was soft, though not mushy/airy. At Summit School Rochelle reports that Keshav did OK. Keshav took a half hour nap before school, not by choice. He slept in the car on the way to summit school and Rochelle had to wake him up because school starts at 2PM. He slept early today at 9PM and hopefully will sleep through the night.

Saturday, July 31, 2010

Keshav slept late on Friday 07/30 but slept through the night without waking up.
In the morning Keshav pooped after his breakfast. The poop was mushy smelly and had bits of carrots and veggies in them. Thereafter keshav pooped 2 more times all the time the poops were mushy and smelly. Were they yeasty poop? May be, i dont know what yeasty poops are.
Rochelle reports today that Keshav is not following or is not able to follow simple receptive instructions like clap hands, touch tummy, arms up etc...These are some of the skills that he learnt in ABA and is supposed to have mastered them. So, there is definitely some regression going on with his skills, attention, focus and over all performance in ABA. We went to a restaurant today and Keshav was well behaved(which he always is). Keshav learnt to hit a tiny baseball with his tiny baseball bat. He seems to enjoy this game and is appropriately playing the hitting the ball game with Rochelle and me. Today Saturday 07/31,Keshav also invited me over my leading me by the hand to do the TAP/BANG table routine. Since, it was saturday we gave Keshav Carc Cum Cuprum in the night. Keshav is no longer itiching his stomach where he seemed to have tiny bumps for the past few days.

Friday, July 30, 2010

Keshav did not want to brush his teeth in the morning.
Keshav's eye contact is getting worse day by day. Rochelle reports he has no eye contact with her. Keshav has no eye contact with me either. Keshav's eye contac with therapist has gotten worse. He does not acknowledge when i get back home from work. About a month back he would acknowledge and want to be picked when I got back home from work. Yesterday when he saw me he didnt even look at me.
Rochelle reports that his poop this morning was well formed.
Today Rochelle reported that he was actually not looking at the people at her work place and was just waiving "HI" because he was being prompted by Rochelle. He didnt care to look at the people he was waiving HI to. Rochelle also reports that he has been standing and putting pressure on his head way tooooo much in the morning today. His performance with the ABA therapist is not upto par as a month before.
ABA THERAPIST'S NOTE
Today was just OK. Keshav was easily distracted and required a very dense schedule of reinforcement for both active and mastered skills. Typically, we will do 4-5 trials (based on his performance/success with the targets) before delivering Keshav's reinforcer, but today we pulled back to 2-3 trials, which slowed the pace of our session a bit. Keshav continues to improve with his Object Imitation, requiring only 3 prompts/redirections for the entire stack of 25-30 objects! Keshav's sign for "bubbles" is also looking a lot better and he is only requiring arm placement to move his hand appropriately over his mouth. Great gains today also with the GMI target, "shake head 'no!'" His responses were very clear and concise by the end of the session! Good job!

Thursday, July 29, 2010

Yesterday evening 07/28/2010 Keshav had a nap in the evening for 1.5 hrs, so he went to bed late at around 12:45PM. I had to rock him to sleep. According to Rochelle, he slept through the night and woke up by himself at around 8:15AM in the morning today. In the night yesterday Rochelle was able to brush his teeth. He did not oppose to brushing his teeth.

ABA THERAPIST NOTE
No ABA therapy today. Only speech therapy from Early Intervention.
Parent's Report
According to Rochelle who took Keshav to work today, Keshav smiled and waived hi to everyone at her work place. This is actually quite a development, as he never ever acknowledges strangers. We will have to watch whether this good social behavior persists or whether it was just by fluke and happened only once. We will see and keep tabs on this social behaviour.Correction: Just heard from Rochelle, that although he was waiving he was not actually looking at the person. No eye contact or interest in people.
Rochelle reported that yesterday 07/28/2010 and today Keshav was fine brushing his teeth again.
Rochelle also reported that Keshav pooped twice today. The first one was well formed. The second one was well formed/soft.
Keshav Oral sensory seems to be off the charts today. He was biting and mouthing everything that came his way. He was biting the pillow, mouthing the balls, mouthing the base ball bat and the bowling pins. He was also standing on his head on the couch.

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Yesterday night Keshav went to sleep at around 8:00PM. He was up at 12:30 AM and according to Rochelle's report did not go to sleep until 4:00 in the morning. This is not good. He did not take a nap whole day yesterday and should have slept through the night as he was quite tired.

ABA Therapist Note
Good day for Keshav! He continues to improve with his imitation skills and though we first introduce new skills at the table, once he is demostrating independence with the, we are now presenting the majority during play time away from the table! :) Keshav continues to amaze us with his acqusition of the movements with songs. Today, he went back and forth between Rochelle and I, requesting specific songs (in Keshav's way). When we began singing "Twinkle Twinkle" Keshav approached Rochelle, pushing her arms up as they would be to twinkle her fingers. Then, some time later, Keshav came over to me, grabbed my hand and held it up, pulling my fingers up. I said, "Three Little Ducks?" and Keshav began doing the first motion that he typically does for this song, "over the hills!" Often we are stopping, waiting for Keshav to follow along with the motions and he is manding, "more." I think we might be able to start incorporating the "music" mand into this activity as well! Per parent report, Keshav started school at Summit in Elgin on Monday and will be attending 3x per week (MTW). Rochelle told me that he was actually imitated his peers during play time!! She said that he watched a peer playing with cars and went over and joined him, independently staying with his peer, playing cars on the track! She also said that they had a water day yesterday (Tuesday) and though Keshav was a bit apprehensive about getting into the pool, once he saw one of his peers walk over to the pool and splash the water with his hands, Keshav did the same. Some time later, he imitated another peer, splashing the water with his feet! Given how Keshav struggled a bit with imitation when we first began working with him, I am ecstatic that he is imitating his peers in the natural environment!! Great job, Keshav!!

Parent's Report
According to Rochelle, Keshav has been mouthing everything at SUMMIT SCHOOL. His eye contact is very poor with the teachers at SUMMIT. He however pushed his chair during circle time or something and enjoys the songs at SUMMIT. I noticed that yesterday Keshav was more open to ride the wooden horse at our place. He is also more open and on his own goes in and out of the play tunnel that we set for him. When we first bought the play tunnel about 2 months back, he would not go inside it and had to coaxed with a reinforcer to go inside. This doesnt seem to be the case anymore.Keshav is still loosing his balance and still has an unusual gait.

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

Yesterday 07/26/2010, night we noticed that Keshav was standing on his head way too often as if to get some sensory input. He was doing that on the couch and he would do it every time he would get a chance to go on the couch. It has been 11 days yesterday since his last DTaP 10M clear. Last DTaP 10M clear was on 07/15/2010. If DTaP causes sensory issues then it should be noted that according to Drew's mom the height of a clear occurs at the 10thday. Also, he was requesting his mom for more and more head compression sensory input. Surprisingly since Sunday July 25th, 2010, Keshav has been more open to go on the swing at the park. He still has no language, no babbling, no sounds what so ever. He played the slide and box game with me with appropriate eye contact and expected me to do HAHAHAHAH routine. He led me by my fingers to come play the Slide and Box game with him. Yesterday Keshav also started SUMMIT SCHOOL. It should also be noted that since Saturday 07/24/2010 Keshav has been resisting brushing his teeth. He has had no problem whatsoever before to brush his teeth. He would be very much interested in brushing his teeth. For some reason, he does not want to brush his teeth anymore. Check for more updates in the following days.
Also, started MMR 30C clear on 07/26/2010

ABA THERAPIST'S NOTES:
Very good day for Keshav! We introduced a number of new targets and Keshav's acquisition was very rapid! He really seems to have the concept for imitation now and his rate of mastery is quick for all targets for these programs! Keshav is demonstrating mastery of certain songs, so today we worked on "Wheels on the Bus." Keshav really enjoys this song and is highly motivated so I am hoping that he picks up the motions for this song as quickly as he has the others! Keshav also mastered 2D/3D matching! Today, we presented both 2D and 3D materials in a F012 with Keshav scoring 100%. Per parent report, yesterday Keshav actually took the 2D pictures and matched them with the corresponding item in the environment! Keshav continues to improve with Object Sorting, beginning immediately when given the instruction, "sort." He requires less prompts and again, generally needs to be redirected because he begins playing with the toys (stacking blocks, stacking pegs, etc.). Great tolerance to extended periods at the table today as well! Great job!

SUMMIT SCHOOL UPDATE
Rochelle just informed me that Keshav's teacher said that he did really well at the summit school. They played with water. At first Keshav was hesistant to play in the rubber pool of water. Keshav is kind of afraid of the water. He then saw a kid spalshing the water and he joined him in doing so. The other kid then stompped in the water and Keshav also did the same. He got wet and we are glad that he is what his mother termed as "imitated the other kid and stompped in the water".
